Gordon McGlashan


Gordon McGlashan is a Consultant in the firm and is based at our Hornsby office. He is a qualified and admitted Solicitor of Australia, England and Wales, Scotland, South Africa and Lesotho. He is a law graduate of the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa and was a law firm partner Solicitor, Conveyancer and Notary in South Africa for many years before moving to the UK where he initially practised in England, undertaking a course of study at BPP Law College, London to qualify and gain admission as a Solicitor in England and Wales. He subsequently undertook further study through the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, qualifying, being admitted and practising for a number of years as a Solicitor and Notary in Scotland before returning to practise again in South Africa.

Gordon and his wife moved to Sydney in 2014 and he has since further qualified and gained admission as a Solicitor here in NSW, Australia. He thus brings exceptionally wide-ranging international qualifications and experience to our firm where he advises and deals with Wills & Estate Planning, retirement village contracts, property and business sales and purchases, residential and commercial leases and various other aspects of private and commercial law.
